Your hosts are Janet Reeder and Dr. Darrell Reeder.

On June 16, 2004, we purchased the Joseph Lawrence House from Barbara and Patrick Kelly who had completed extensive renovations to the Lawrence House in order to prepare it as a Bed & Breakfast venue.

We welcomed our first guests on June 25. Since then, we have continued extensive restoration work and have upgraded fixtures, furnishings and surroundings for the comfort of our guests, consistent with the Victorian era.

Janet recently retired from Sears Canada as Coordinator of Human Resources in Barrie, Ontario. Darrell recently retired as an educator and clinical psychologist providing behavioural healthcare services. In his new career as co-host of the Joseph Lawrence House B&B,  Darrell also enjoys working with Janet and the stimulating challenge of learning the multi - tasking skills required to be an assistant cook, gardner, and landscaper.
