Start your day at the Joseph Lawrence House with a full, scrumptious gourmet breakfast spiced with stimulating conversation with other guests and your hosts. Breakfast is typically served between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. Choose your breakfast fare from a variety of nutritious delights.
Whenever possible, fresh, local produce is used in season. Choose from selected fruit juices, locally picked fresh fruits, Janet’s freshly made ‘in house’ cereals, whole wheat breads, succulent muffins and scones, granola, cereals, ‘made to order’ porridge, delicious jams and condiments; King Cole tea and assorted herbal teas, and fair traded, alternatively sourced regular or decaffeinated organically grown gourmet coffees from the Creemore Coffee Company.
Breakfast begins with a fresh fruit dish. When available, fresh products from local farms are used each morning to prepare a main course for the day. Bacon, sausage, ham, or smoked salmon complement fresh cheeses to produce delightful egg dishes of many kinds such as baked Omelets, and variations of Eggs Benedict. Waffles topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream or yogurt, or maple syrup are frequently offered. Caramelized baked French toast is popular with our quests. We welcome suggestions, and special requests from our guests.
